The National Autonomous University of  Mexico (UNAM), the School of Philosophy and Literature (FFyL) of  UNAM, the Administrative Secretariat of UNAM, the General Direction of Personnel of UNAM and the Association of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean (UDUAL) are honored to invite you to UNAM Second International Congress on Early Childhood Education and UDUAL Second Congress of University Child Care Centers of Latin America and the Caribbean which will take place on September 11, 12 and 13, 2018 in Mexico City.

 

The event is aimed at professors, researchers and students dedicated to education, particularly children education; personnel who works in childcare centers and university childcare centers in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as everyone interested in the topics of both congresses.

 

 

OBJECTIVES

 

Reflect on childhood education aimed at three to six year-old children in order to analyze the current situation through the study of syllabi and curricula, teaching practices, study materials, teacher training and new developments in the area. All of this with the purpose of searching, detecting and defining the educational challenges in preschoolers education and teacher training.

 

Analyze the landscape for infants from 40 days to three years of age, teachers and personnel in charge, the physical spaces and the teaching and care-giving practices in university child care centers with the purpose of establishing clear topics for discussion that contribute to the visualization of educational challenges faced in child care and and training for teachers who work in university child care centers.

 

Generate a space for dialogue with the purpose of analyzing childhood education and childcare in universities, in addition to fostering the development of research on children education.

 

 

 

FORMS OF PARTICIPATION

 

Attendee, without presentation of a work (will receive a certificate of attendance)

 

Participant, with presentation of work (will receive a certificate of participation and his or her dictaminated paper/poster will be included in the Congress' Memoires):

Memoirs of the Congress will be published and they will include the dictaminated and presented papers and  posters.
